LabTech Software announces new features and NOC support tools in its LabTech 2011 remote monitoring and management software

LabTech Software, a powerful and comprehensive Remote Monitoring, Management, and Automation solution for managed services, announced the release of LabTech 2011, featuring new features and enhancements that illustrate LabTech’s dedication to the channel. Custom Alerts

Using new alert templates, you can perform different actions according to the time of day and type of client. You can also set up after-hours NOC support alerts that can be sent to a remote NOC team or a designated after-hours technician.

LabTech Marketplace

Keeping your LabTech system updated requires syncing LabTech definition items, plug-ins, reports, and monitors to the LabTech system defaults. In a future phase, LabTech Partners will be able to share their settings through the LabTech Marketplace.

Recurring Maintenance

Get greater control over NOC support, recurring computer and location maintenance, including delaying alerts when rebooting or performing routine maintenance.

Patch Manager

Using the new Patch Manager, all hotfix patches are centralized in one place, so that approved patches can occur automatically while exceptions, failures, and missing patches can be identified. From the Patch Manager, you can also ignore a patch or patch a group of computers or a single computer, and force an immediate installation to bring all the affected computers up-to-date.

New Telnet Abilities

With LabTech agents you can Telnet to any IP address and keep the session open for calls to it, scripting the connection, and backing up the configuration.

ConnectWise Integration

In addition, LabTech has added broader support and easier integration with ConnectWise PSA software, including call routing to designated service boards in ConnectWise via LabTech calls, and more.
