An online gaming platform (OGP) provides users with access to video games without needing a gaming console, whether for free or through subscription plans. These services may either offer unlimited playback or require paying subscription fees in order to play certain titles.

These platforms enable Unblocked Games EZ to play their favorite games from any location with high-speed Internet connection and provide access to a large library of titles.

Steam

Steam is an online gaming platform compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems that offers digital storefronts for games as well as a community portal to chat with friends, share screenshots and play multiplayer games with them.

Valve Corporation first unveiled Steam in 2003 as a game storefront for Half-Life 2. Over time, this platform became increasingly popular as fans created mods and communities surrounding their favorite titles.

Steam has quickly become one of the premier digital distribution platforms over the last decade, thanks to its expansive library and steep discounts that keep players coming back. However, Steam does have its own share of drawbacks: taking a 30 percent cut from developers while offering poor customer support can all be found within its walls.

Though not without its flaws, Steam remains one of the premier online gaming platforms. Signing up is quick and free; additional social features include forums, guides, reviews and the Steam Workshop where mods and new game assets can be acquired.

Epic

The Epic Games Store, opened by Epic Games in December 2018, is an online gaming platform offering an impressive variety of features and games.

Social features offered by iTunes include chat functionality and the capability of creating a friend list. Furthermore, iTunes recommends songs based on search history and library.

Additionally, the store offers exclusive releases such as GTA V, Alan Wake and Batman Arkham Collection that give away free games each month.

Revenue-wise, Epic Games Store takes a 12% cut on sales of games through their platform – this gives developers the opportunity to earn more through this channel.

Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is an online gaming platform offering access to hundreds of titles for a monthly fee, across consoles, PC and mobile devices. Furthermore, day one releases of high-profile titles from Microsoft Studios are also included on Xbox Game Pass.

The Xbox Game Pass app provides an ideal way to explore all of the available titles. Each title is listed with trailer, screenshots and file size information.

Xbox Game Pass also integrates the party system from Xbox Game Bar, so that you can continue your multiplayer gaming session without having to leave at any point – an invaluable feature that makes Xbox Game Pass an excellent choice for multiplayer gamers.

PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus is an online gaming service that gives gamers access to a vast catalog of games, allows multiplayer game play and backs up game saves in the cloud. Available as either a monthly subscription or for a set period, PS Plus makes gaming accessible and affordable!

Essential, Extra and Premium services each offer different sets of advantages; select the one which meets your individual requirements to get started!

Essential tier members have access to online multiplayer games, a Netflix-esque catalog of games and 100 gigabytes of cloud saving support. Extra tier subscribers receive additional discounts from PlayStation Store games while Premium users gain access to an extensive library of classic PlayStation titles.
